Preparing Your Cluster

This section contains the information that your system administrator and network administrator need to help you, as the DBA, configure the two nodes in your cluster. This section assumes a basic understanding of the Linux operating system. In some cases, you may need to refer to details in Oracle Real Application Clusters Installation Guide for Linux and UNIX. In addition, you must have root privileges to perform certain tasks in this section.
