For maintenance operations on a Text index or partition such as synchronizing, rebuilding, and resuming a failed operation, Text Manager lets you control logging the activity to a log file. You may specify a log file name other than the default that is given, and you may choose to have the previous log file overwritten. You can also change the destination of the log file from the default.
