About Synchronizing a Text Index

Text Manager provides the Synchronize Index page to enable you to synchronize a Text index or partitions of a Text index. You synchronize an index to process inserts and updates in order to keep the index up-to-date. From the Synchronize Index page, you can also specify Parallel Degree and the Memory Size to allocate for this operation, and you can enable logging to a Log File. For a partitioned index, the partitions are listed and you can select all or only those partitions needing to be synchronized.
