Managing Job Activities in Progress or Scheduled

The Text Indexes page shows the jobs that are in progress, scheduled within the last seven days, or are epxeriencing problems. From this page you can go to the Job Scheduler to see a summary of all jobs for this database instance, and to manage selected jobs.

To manage job activities:

1. From the Text Indexes page, click the link next to a Job Acitivity. For example, you can choose scheduled, running, or problem jobs.

   The Scheduler Jobs page appears with a list of jobs for this database instance, including jobs for Text indexes.

2. Select a job to manage.

   The tasks available to perform are:

   • View or edit the job definition for the selected job

   • Delete the selected job

   • Run the selected job now

   • Create a new job using the selected job as a template

3. Click the name of the task that you want for this job.

   Depending on the task, a page appears with more options.
