Editing Datastore URL Attributes for a Partitioned Text Index

For a partitioned index, Text Manager provides a Partition page that summarizes basic details about the partitions. From this page, you select the partition that you want to edit.

To edit the datastore URL preferences for a partitioned Text index:

  1. On the Text Indexes page, select the index that you want to edit.

  2. Click Edit.

    The Select Partition page of Edit Text Index appears for the selected index.

  3. Select the partition that you want to edit.

  4. Click Continue.

    The Edit Text Index page appears with the General page for the selected partition on this index.

  5. From the Edit Text Index page for this index and partition, select the Datastore tab.

    The Datastore page appears. Current values for this partition appear in the text fields.

  6. Edit any of the following attributes as needed. If you leave a field blank, then the default value for that field is used.

    • HTTP proxy host. Specify the host name of the HTTP proxy server. Optionally specify port number with a colon in the form hostname:port.

    • FTP proxy host. Specify the host name of ftp proxy server. Optionally specify port number with a colon in the form hostname:port. The login:password@ syntax within the URL is supported for ftp access.

    • No proxy domain. Specify the domain for no proxy server. Use a comma-separated string of up to 16 domain names.

  7. Click Apply to commit your changes.

You may optionally click Show SQL to see the comparable SQL statements. You can revert back to the previous attributes by clicking Revert.
