Editing Datastore URL Attributes for a Non-partitioned Text Index

To edit the datastore URL preferences for a non-partitioned Text index:

1. On the Text Indexes page, select the index that you want to edit.

2. Click Edit.

   Edit Text Index appears with the General page for the selected index.

3. From the Edit Text Index page, select the Datastore tab.

   The Datastore page appears for the selected Text index. Current values appear in the text fields.

4. Edit any of the following attributes as needed. If you leave a field blank, then the default value for that field is used.

   • Maximum URLs. The value of this attribute is ignored. This is provided for backward compatibility.

   • HTTP proxy host. Specify the host name of the HTTP proxy server. Optionally specify port number with a colon in the form hostname:port.

   • FTP proxy host. Specify the host name of ftp proxy server. Optionally specify port number with a colon in the form hostname:port. The login:password@ syntax within the URL is supported for ftp access.

   • No proxy domain. Specify the domain for no proxy server. Use a comma-separated string of up to 16 domain names.

5. Click Apply to commit your changes.

You may optionally click Show SQL to see the comparable SQL statements. You can revert back to the previous attributes by clicking Revert.
