About Editing Datastore URL (URL_DATASTORE) Attributes

For the selected Text index, you can edit the attributes for the data storage, or datastore preference URL for files that are located on the Internet or on a local file system. If the index is partitioned, then you edit the datastore URL attributes for a selected partition. This operation in Text Manager uses the URL_DATASTORE preference.

You may optionally view the comparable SQL statements. You can revert back to the previous attributes if you decide that you do not want to keep your changes.
