By default, when you add an object to a group at the master definition site, Oracle uses the definition of the object to create the same object at all master sites. This option requires less administrative work but creates network traffic due to initial object creation.
If you want Oracle to create the object at all master sites, then disable the Use Existing Object option.
If you want to precreate the object yourself at all master sites, then enable the Use Existing Object option.
If you allow Oracle to create the objects, then when you add a partitioned table (or index) to a master group, Oracle also replicates the table's partitions to all other master sites. When a master site does not have tablespaces with the same names as those in the master definition site, Oracle creates the replicated table's partitions at the master site using the default tablespace of its schema.
