Resuming Replication Activity for a Master Group

After successfully completing administrative operations on a master group or any of its replication objects, you can resume replication activity for the master group at all master sites. Before resuming replication activity for a master group, make sure there are no unexpected errors by checking the status of the administrative requests for the master group. You also may need to generate replication support for one or more replication objects (Generating Replication Support for Master Group Objects) before you can resume replication activity.

To resume replication activity for a master group:

  1. In Enterprise Manager, connect to the Database Instance Home page as the replication administrator.

  2. Click Data Movement.

  3. Under the Advanced Replication section, click Manage.

    The Administration Overview page appears.

  4. Under the Multimaster Replication section, click the number link next to callbackMaster Groups.

    The Master Groups page appears.

  5. Under the Replication Activity column, click Resume.

After resuming replication activity for a master group, monitor the status of the master group(Overview of Replication Administration) to ensure that replication activity resumes without errors.

API Equivalent: DBMS_REPCAT.RESUME_MASTER_ACTIVITY
