Generating Replication Support for Individual Objects

To generate replication support for an individual object in the master group:

  1. In Enterprise Manager, connect to the Database Instance Home page as the replication administrator.

  2. Click Data Movement.

  3. Under the Advanced Replication section, click Manage.

    The Administration Overview page appears.

  4. Under the Multimaster Replication section, click the number link next to callbackMaster Groups.

    The Master Groups page appears.

  5. Suspend replication activity if there are multiple master sites in the replication environment.

    See Suspending Replication Activity for a Master Group for more information.

  6. Under the Replication Activity column, click Quiesce.

  7. Click Edit.

    The General subpage of the Master Group page appears.

  8. Click Objects.

    The Objects subpage of the Master Group page appears.

  9. Select the objects for which you want to generate replication support.

  10. Enable the box in the Generate Replication Support column for the selected objects.

Note: After generating replication support for one or more objects, you can ensure that the operation was successful by checking the status of the object using Oracle Enterprise Manager, as described above.

If the operation was successful, then resume replication activity for the master group (Resuming Replication Activity for a Master Group) when all of the administrative requests have been processed successfully.
