The simple example in the Getting Started with MultiMaster Replication topic does not mention several other steps that might be necessary to configure certain multimaster replication systems. You may need to complete the following tasks:

• When a replication environment uses a shared ownership data model, you need to configure conflict resolution for all replicated tables before resuming replication activity for a master group.

• After you have configured your replication environment, you need to resume replication activity to begin replicating data.
