Creating a Refresh Group

To create a new refresh group (as described in Refresh Groups)for a materialized view site:

1. In Enterprise Manager, connect to the Database Instance Home page as the replication administrator.

2. Click Data Movement.

3. Under the Advanced Replication section, click Manage. The Advanced Replication: Administration page appears.

4. Under Materialized View Site section, click the number next to Refresh Groups to open the Refresh Groups page.

5. On the Refresh Groups page, click Create.

   The General subpage of the Create Refresh Group page appears.

The Create Refresh Group page has two tabs: General and Materialized Views.

• The General subpage lets you specify the name and owner for the group.

• The Materialized Views subpage lets you add materialized views to the refresh group.
