Editing a Materialized View Log

To edit the storage settings or filter columns (Filter Columns) of a materialized view log:

1. In Enterprise Manager, connect to the Database Instance Home page as the replication administrator.

2. Click Data Movement.

3. Under the Advanced Replication section, click Manage. The Advanced Replication: Administration page appears.

4. Under Materialized View Replication, Master Site section, click the number next to Materialized View Logs to open the Materialized View Logs page.

5. On the Materialized View Logs page, select the materialized view log that you want to edit.

The Materialized View Log property sheet has three pages: General, Storage, and Options.

• Use the settings of the General subpage to specify whether the log supports primary key materialized views, ROWID materialized views, or both. You also use the settings of the General subpage to modify the filter columns (Filter Columns) for materialized views that contain subqueries.

• Use the settings of the Storage subpage to modify the storage specifications for the log.

• Use the settings of the Options subpage to modify parallel setting and logging options.
