Manually Refreshing a Materialized View

To manually refresh a materialized view:

1. In Enterprise Manager, connect to the Database Instance Home page as the replication administrator.

2. Click Data Movement.

3. Under the Advanced Replication section, click Manage. The Advanced Replication: Administration page appears.

4. Under Materialized View Site section, click the number next to Materialized Views to open the Materialized Views page.

5. Select the materialized view you want to refresh and click Edit.

   The General subpage of the Edit Materialized View page appears.

6. In the Status section, click Refresh next to the Refresh State field.

   The Refresh Materialized View page appears.

7. Modify the settings in the Refresh Type, Rollback Segment, and Other Options sections, as required.

   Click Help on these tabs for information about the controls.

8. Click OK.

   The Confirmation page appears.

9. Click Yes to confirm the refresh operation.
