6. Use SQL*Plus to instantiate template (Step 4 of Instantiate at a Remote Materialized View Site).

   If online, then end. If offline, then go to Step 7.

7. Optionally use the Replication Management tool or the management API (PL/SQL) to refresh each site (Step 4 of Instantiate at a Remote Materialized View Site).
