Each time you add a new authorized user for a specific template, you may need to define one or more user parameter values. The following steps guide you through modifying template parameters and user parameter values:
Note: Parameters in templates that have been instantiated cannot be modified.
In Enterprise Manager, connect to the Database Instance Home page as the replication administrator.
Click Data Movement.
Under the Advanced Replication section, click Manage.
The Administration Overview page appears.
Under the Materialized View Replication, Master Site section, click the number link next to Templates.
The Deployment Templates page appears.
Select the deployment template that you want to modify and click the icon in the Edit column.
The General subpage of the Edit Template page appears.
Click Parameters.
Modify the content of the Default Value and Prompt String fields as necessary.
Default Value: The default value for the selected parameter.
Prompt String: The text a user sees when prompted for a parameter value.
If you do not know all of the user parameter values at this time, then you will be able to specify additional user parameter values by modifying your deployment template again.
Click Apply when you have made all of the necessary modifications.
