Creating a Deployment Template

Oracle deployment templates provide you with the tools to efficiently deploy and administer a widely distributed materialized view environment.

Before you create a deployment template, make sure you perform the actions described in Before Creating Deployment Templates.

Run the Wizard as follows:

1. In Enterprise Manager, connect to the Database Instance Home page as the replication administrator.

2. Click Data Movement.

3. Under the Advanced Replication section, click Setup. The Advanced Replication: Setup page appears.

4. Expand Create Template for Mass Deployment of Materialized View Sites, and select Create Template.

5. Click Continue to start the Create Deployment Template Wizard.

Complete the pages in the wizard. For more information about using the wizard, click Help for each page of the wizard.
