To Add Additional Conflict Resolution Method

To add an additional conflict resolution method, you use the same procedure that you normally would to add a conflict resolution method. The most notable difference is that you select a column group that already exists, instead of creating a new column group, before defining the conflict resolution method.

Add your additional conflict resolution methods by completing the following steps:

• Timestamp

• Overwrite and Discard Methods

• Minimum and Maximum

• Priority Groups

• Site Priority

• Additive and Average

When you have more than one conflict resolution method for a single column group, you must order the methods so that Oracle applies them in the correct order. It is easy to adjust the order of conflict resolution. Follow the instructions in Ordering Conflict Resolution Methods.
