Update Resolution Methods: Step 2

Complete the following steps to update resolution methods for overwrite and discard conflict resolution:

1. Select the column group that you just created from the Name list under the Column Groups section.

2. Click Edit.

   The General subpage of the Edit Column Group page appears.

3. Click Resolution Methods.

   The Resolution Methods subpage of the Edit Column Group page appears.

4. Click Add.

   The Add Resolution Method page appears.

5. Select Additive or Average from the Methods list.

   Additive: Adds the originating value to the destination value.

   Average: Computes the average of the originating value and the destination value.

6. Verify that the numerical column you specified previously is in the Parameter Column list.

7. Click Continue.

8. Add another conflict resolution method if necessary.
