Update Resolution Methods: Step 2

Complete the following steps to update resolution methods for overwrite and discard conflict resolution:

1. Select the column group that you just created from the Name list under the Column Groups section.

2. Click Edit.

   The General subpage of the Edit Column Group page appears.

3. Click Resolution Methods.

   The Resolution Methods subpage of the Edit Column Group page appears.

4. Click Add.

   The Add Resolution Method page appears.

5. Select Overwrite or Discard from the Resolution Methods list.

   Overwrite: The overwrite method replaces the current value at the destination site with the new value from the originating site.

   Discard: The discard method ignores the new value from the originating site.

6. Click Continue.

7. Add another conflict resolution method if necessary.
