Update Resolution Methods: Step 4

Complete the following steps to update resolution methods for timestamp conflict resolution:

1. Select the column group that you just created from the Name list under the Column Groups section.

2. Click Edit.

   The General subpage of the Edit Column Group page appears.

3. Click Resolution Methods.

   The Resolution Methods subpage of the Edit Column Group page appears.

4. Click Add.

   The Add Resolution Method page appears.

5. Select Latest Timestamp or Earliest Timestamp from the Resolution Methods list.

   Latest Timestamp: The most recent value is used to resolve the conflict. This method can guarantee data convergence with any number of sites.

   Earliest Timestamp: The older value is used to resolve the conflict.

6. Select the timestamp column from the Parameter Column list.

7. Click Continue.

8. Add another conflict resolution method if necessary.
