Managing Deferred Transactions

A replication environment using asynchronous data propagation uses an internal system of deferred transactions and job queues to push changes from one site to another. You can view and manage the deferred transactions and job queues of each server in a replication environment.

In addition, you can manage scheduled links to control the propagation of deferred transactions in the deferred transaction queue to other sites.

Note: You can set an Oracle Enterprise Manager event to alert you if the number of deferred transactions exceeds a specified limit. See the Oracle Enterprise Manager documentation and online help for information about setting Oracle Enterprise Manager events.
