The default is ON, which gives unchanged behavior.</p> <h3><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color="#330099">2.3 FAN Events in a RAC Database</font></h3> <p>By default, the SQLPLUS command enables SQL*Plus to receive FAN events from a RAC database on Linux/UNIX computers.
