      Option</font></h3>
    <p>The editions option in the SQLPLUS and CONNECT commands enables you to 
      specify the Session Edition to use when starting SQL*Plus or when making 
      a database connection with the CONNECT command.</p>
    <h3><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color="#330099">2.2 SET EXITCOMMIT</font></h3>
    <p>SQL*Plus has a new SET EXITCOMMIT option that enables you to specify whether 
      the default EXIT behavior is COMMIT or ROLLBACK. The default is ON, which 
      gives unchanged behavior.</p>
    <h3><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color="#330099">2.3 FAN Events 
      in a RAC Database</font></h3>
    <p>By default, the SQLPLUS command enables SQL*Plus to receive FAN events 
      from a RAC database on Linux/UNIX computers. There is no longer a SQL*Plus 
      option to enable or disable this feature.</p>

      Desupport Notices</font></H2>

      commands and interfaces. It is not official notice of desupport dates, nor 
      is it intended to replace the Oracle obsolescence process. This information 
      provides you with advance warning that Oracle Corporation intends to desupport

      Windows Graphical User Interface</font></H3>
    <p class="BP"> The SQL*Plus for Windows graphical user interface (GUI) was 
      desupported in SQL*Plus Release 11.1. In Oracle Database 11<i>g</i> Release 
      1 (11.1), Oracle recommends using one of the following:</p>
