Currently running <a href="popup:oemjobs_gloss_step">steps</a> may complete execution before the job is stopped. </P> </LI> <LI> <P> For repeating jobs, deleting a running or scheduled execution cancels all future executions of the job. Deleting a completed execution removes only that execution. Users may select a job and choose the option to delete all runs to remove all executions of that job.</P> </LI> <LI> <P> For completed jobs, removes all job information for that execution, but does not affect future executions.</P></LI> <LI> <P> For scheduled jobs, cancels all executions scheduled for the future, but does not delete executions that have already run.</P></LI> </UL> <P> To delete a job, do the following:</P> <OL> <LI> <P> Click the <STRONG>Jobs</STRONG> tab. Enterprise Manager displays the Job Activity page. You can also access the job system through links provided on many Enterprise Manager pages. Note that the jobs displayed may depend on the link you clicked; for instance, if you click a link from a particular home page, the list will be filtered for certain job status for that target. </P> <P> Enterprise Manager displays the Job Activity page.</P></LI> <LI> <P> On the Job Activity page, select and delete the job you wish to delete from the system. </P> <p>For more information, click <STRONG>Help</STRONG> on the Job Activity page.</p></LI> </OL> <p>You can also delete a job from the Job Run Detail page or the Job Execution Detail page.</p> <p>To delete a library job, do the following:</p> <ol> <LI> <P> Click the <STRONG>Jobs</STRONG> tab. Enterprise Manager displays the Job Activity page.</P> </LI> <LI> <P>Click <strong>Job Library</strong>.</P> <P> Enterprise Manager displays the Job Library page.</P> </LI> <LI> <P> On the Job Library page, select the job in the Results section, then click <strong>Delete</strong>. </P> <p>For more information, click <STRONG>Help</STRONG> on the Job Library page</p> </LI> </ol> <H2>Usage Tips</H2> <p>To delete a job, you must have the Full access right for the job, or you must be the job owner or a Super Administrator.</p> <p>For information about Enterprise Manager's default purge policy, refer to the "Management Repository Default Aggregation and Purging Policies" section of the <A HREF="javascript:open('http://otn.oracle.com/pls/db10g/db10g.to_xlink?xlink=OEMCG0114','newWindow').focus();">Maintaining and Troubleshooting the Management Repository</A> chapter of the <em>Enterprise Manager Advanced Configuration</em> guide.</p> <p>Enterprise Manager has a default purge policy for jobs that deletes all finished jobs that are older than 30 days.
